Ha! Seriously, I knew that we would someday have a "First Black President". But I thought that I would be old and have dementia and no real knowledge of what was going on. So above all else, I can say that I witnessed history before receiving my first CONFIRMED gray hair. Now that I have sort of gotten past being speechless, I realize that this man has a long road ahead. I'm glad he's smart because it's going to take some Soloman-like wisdom to get this country out of all these messes. Love the picture of the two kids...too bad mine was in a coma-like slumber and missed the whole thing. Hmmm….It seems as though I’m with you during every major event in your life, including this one. Mind you I'm not a very political person, but I watched President Obama's acceptance speech and couldn't help but feel proud and honored to be able to say that I was around when this happened. I will also be able to share this with my children and grandchildren. He does have his work cut out for him, but I believe in him.
