I saw Hancock and although it was lacking a true enemy for Hancock, it was an okay movie. I do want to see a sequel. Check out my film review site: www.filmreviews2go.com and let me know if you've seen any of the other movies. We'll be posting a review of Batman The Dark Knight later on this week.

@Idalisa: That's really sad that you fell asleep on that movie, albeit my heterosexuality wont allow me to say it was "good" I will say that it's entertaining for what it is. Hancock was very good, you need to go see it and support Will. Hellboy looks decent if i can ever get around to seeing it, Batman is a MUST SEE for sure.

Dan in Real Life was a really good movie. I had no interest in watching it initially but I'm glad I did. It showed how a family is "supposed" to look like without being over the top.

Be Kind, Rewind. Totally agree. Mos Def and Jack Black? Who woulda thunk it?

I haven’t seen Hancock. I wanted to at first but now I'm not so sure. Will probably wait until it's on On Demand

27 Dresses was indeed a chick flick but I’m sure the woman you watched it with has watched some movies/shows that she probably wasn’t too keen on. Hmm… So consider this you making up for all the movies/tv shows that you wanted to watch and she dealt with it. Let’s face it, you’ve probably watched more things that YOU wanted to watch than things that SHE wanted to watch.

Other than Sam Jackson, Jumper was a waste. Can’t imagine it being much better on blu-ray and wouldn’t waste my energy to watch it even on blu-ray.

Mr. Brooks was a great movie if you can stand the sight of blood and random violence, I agree. I’m still recovering from the sight of one scene in particular. Yuck!

As far as Season 1 of the Boondocks goes, it was great. Ah, black folk humor at its finest. I don’t think I’d ever watch it with a non-black person because I’d feel guilty about laughing at the completely non-politically correct humor while the other person is either insulted or clueless about what’s going on.

BTW BPrice, I will not be giving up my black card. I don’t know where I was or how I missed it but if I have to give up my black card for missing the Boondocks, your black card must be burned at the stake.

Well I feel like a loser! Out of all the ones you mentioned I watched 27 dresses, and fell asleep. What a girly girl I am huh? Hancock looks pretty good. I want to see Hellboy 2 and Batman...how about you?
