ok
please explain to me how u figured i was from those two lines?lol
and what u mean by tone?*side eye*

those two lines were meant to be read together tho

Since you had said that you've rocked the shorter look before
I assumed the increased flirtatious activity was because of the contrast from the slight bush to the haircut
didnt know u rocked the longer hair look before

I go to school/work with majority (95%) Asians. They act CRAZY i.e. fawns over me with the slightest change of my hair. I mean, me pulling it back into one is cause for discussion. Talk about annoying. At first I tried to K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid) but damn, I'm a black woman and changing my hair with my mood is my birthright. Needless to say, the comments and inquisitions keep rolling in. I even had to have a talk with my instructor about the fact that it takes mere minutes to "switch it up" and that it by no means is a reflection of my dedication to my work. (She has on more than one occassion looked disapprovingly at the hair-esp. when I rock the curly 'fro-and asked how much time I spent on it). I think they did take notice of the growth and were kind of relieved for the familiarity of the shape up and cut.

@dejanae411: Even before I peeped your profile I knew you were a Leo, only because of the 'tone' that you carried when you wrote that. This coming from a leo himself. I'm not a believer in "signs" but I do know a bird of the same feather when I see it, nevertheless back you your comment.

I don't really understand how your two statements relate to one another, so responding to them is going to be difficult. I guess I'll respond to each one rather then seeing them as a combined statement.

They didn't say anything yes, but there's a lot of contributing factors in that scenario to say why they didn't.

Relieved? Perhaps, but I doubt it given the fact that it's happen (my hair being long) before, or even days when I wasn't rocking the wave cap the night before and nothing was said, no comments or looks were given prior to this. I rest in the belief that it was more of how I felt afterwards then anything and that positive energy resounded outward and people just picked up on it.
Seeing how I'm one of maybe ten blacks in the company, one of three that aren't in an admin or company services division (i.e. finance/HR)

LoL
You know, I didn't think about that and now that you bring it up it could've very well been that I was just "feelin it" that day/week. My barber did line me up right too now that I look at it, so yeah it could've very well been.

That's weird. Do you think it was the new "swagger" you bought on with the haircut. Cause when people get their hair done, male and female, you start to look good and feel good. lol
I know I do.
